A new album with all new acoustic versions/remakes
of classic Psyche tracks and new material is in the works to follow up
the release of "Unveiling The Secret 2.0"
"Unveiling The Secret 2.0" becomes a brand new aural
experience through the latest incantations of the original's haunting
melody and lyrics. This is the sound of the 80's on a collision course
with the 2.0 generation. Here, words and sound become flesh once more.
Evocations of perhaps the first classic electronic dance song without a
chorus. New songs "Open The Sky" and "Wanting" represent the
"everything" that happened in between. "My Preservation" written with
DJ Ram closes the event with a plaintive farewell to all that once was.
Available since November 10th, 2006 on Endless Records. And also a very special 12" release with
individually marbled vinyl on EC Records.
Originally I planned to only announce Psyche news on
here, but many of you may know or be interested in LOUNGE in which I have begun a new path in music together
with Niels Hesse and Marco Drewes with our latest CD "Elegance". Also
there has been a funtime electro sidestep project with JETLAG, as well as helping to form the label Deja Vu Music that started last year with new releases by Bastards Of Love.
Out now is my first ever own personal remix of
"Traveler" for ANGELS AND AGONY's "Unison" bonus CD plus guest vocals on "Life Is A
Combat" on THE RORSCHACH GARDEN's latest release "The Toy
Factory" as well as my contribution to "Love Affair" by ESSEXX (Sara Noxx side-project) on the double CD
"Bridges". "Injection" by CONTROLLED COLLAPSE where I appear on the track "Fulfillment" is also out
now on Dependent Records. My final guest vocal for this year before the
next Psyche release is on BRAIN LEISURE's "Repent" to be heard on the album "Methods To
Madness".
While Psyche goes on their "Unveiling The Secret 2.0"
Tour and various mixes are currently making the rounds of radio and
club promotion, Lounge will be chilling out at a café near you. DJ RAM from Russia has released his second VIRTUAL SERVER
album entitled "Setup" for the US label A Different Drum. The song "My Preservation" with my vocals and lyrics
also appears as the first track on this release, and as a remix on the
limited edition double CD. Keep your ears on, there's much more to hear.
As always, Darrin C. Huss AUDIO VIDEOS

![]() and just a few years ago... As it's been nearly 25 years of Psyche, we finally
decided to release a DVD to document a collection of Psyche's
appearances in every incarnation from 1983-2005. Of course we had tons
of material, but it has been decided on 21 tracks in all, with at least
1 song from every album we have ever released! "Imaginary Life" officially arrived on May 26th 2006.
It contains videos and performances covering the very beginning
from "The Crawler" on an Edmonton TV station in 1983 through to
"Unveiling The Secret", "Misery","Sanctuary", "Goodbye Horses", and
beyond. Plus an audio commentary track and bonus features such as
Darrin and Stephen Huss being interviewed backstage in Sweden after
their debut concert in Gothenberg in 1988. Psyche's "Imaginary Life" has been entered in the IMDB (International Movie Database) and is available
through Amazon.com Stephen Huss - "Lost Oasis" is the second album
release of intergalactic instrumentals from Darrin's brother. Please
