PSYCHE AT FELLINI - February 20, 1997 (WITH GUEST STATEMACHINE) UPSALA, SWEDEN
I´m in a hurry so this is a short review. Everything went well. By 9pm there was a large audience in Fellini. The concert was great. Starting with a somewhat short performance from STATEMACHINE (30 min.). But they got the crowd excited and in the mood for PSYCHE. PSYCHE had great success with their one and a half hour program where they played some older as well as new titles.
Here´s a selection of some of their set highlights :
"Insecurity", "Silence Was A Melody", "Prisoner To Desire", "Unveiling The Secret", "Angel Lies Sleeping", "BrainCollapses" as well as a cover of SOFT CELL´s "Sex Dwarf".
Darrin Huss is a very enthusiastic und charismatic "scene" celebrity, and otherwise also friendly and sympathetic ´offstage´. The same can be said for PSYCHE keyboarder Per-Anders Kurenbach (who also speaks quite good Swedish).
STATEMACHINE were also nice to meet.Although I say this not wholly unbiased, but I would like to state that this concert was in fact the
one I´ve liked the most.
